INFO

Kevin McHugh was born and raised in Solon, OH, just outside of Cleveland. It was there he began performing with his high school band, Elysium, around the Cleveland area. It was also with Elysium that Kevin recorded his first album, "Bitter Operation". In 2004 he moved to Champaign, IL to pursue a degree from the University of Illinois. Instead of a degree, however, his time in Illinois yielded his second band, Underpaid Packy. UP recorded two studio albums (Tales from a Fifth Street Roof, Underpaid Packy) and played around the midwest including the SummerCamp Music Festival. After nearly 3 years of performing together, Underpaid Packy disbanded and Kevin briefly joined Champaign-based band Jobu, continuing to play around the midwest and even a few stints in Key West, FL.

In 2010 the west was calling, and Kevin relocated to Lakewood, CO, where he currently resides. Since then he has completed a degree in Piano Performance at the University of Colorado, Denver. While in school he became an entertainer at the dueling piano bar Howl at the Moon, and began a 4 night-a-week residency playing solo at the Summit Steak House (Aurora, CO), where he played for about 7 years. In 2015 Kevin joined rock n' roll/americana band Grant Farm, and now spends most of his time touring/performing with them. The band recently played their Red Rocks debut on 07/23/17, opening for The String Cheese Incident.

Grant Farm is a nationally touring rock/roots/Cris-co group based out of Boulder Colorado that you can check out at www.GrantFarm.net.
